Yo lei por ahi que cuando empezaron a grabar que le dieron a un productor o algo asi un demo con temas "Tradicionales de Metal" o sea el Metal que ellos hacen, y que tanto el tipo este como Mikael no se sentian a gusto con el demo y decidio que iban a hacer un disco experimental... Lo lei en una entrevista en una pagina Rusa de confianza! Hay que ver que pasa! Edit: Aca lo encontre Citar: Mikael was recently interviewed by Sweden rock magazine about the upcoming album and this is shortly what he basically said. "In the beginning it was meant to be some sort of metal album, but after writing two song I realized I was lying to myself. The classic Opethelemnts were there and the fans would have liked it, but I didn't like it at all. This album will be really different to anything we've ever done before and I want to revolt against myself in my style of writing. I don't want this album to be the same as for example Blackwater Park. Everybody in the band has agreed on a kind of a change of style, this album doesn't sound like anything the band want to release just to keep the name fresh, I recorded a demo tape with the classic metal sound and played it for Mendez and he pretty much said that he'd be disappointed if this would be our next album. The album is very complex and sounds kind of fusion-like and I think that many fans who think they know what we're about will hate it, but I'm sure many people will love it as well. One thing is for sure, no one will find it boring." Hice una traduccion a la apurada: "En un principio el disco estaba planeado para ser de Metal, pero despues de escribir 2 canciones me di cuenta de que me estaba mintiendo a mi mismo, Los Elementos de Opeth estaban ahi y a los fan seguro les hubiera gustado, pero a mi no me agraba para nada. Este album sera realmente diferente a cualquier cosa que hayamos hecho antes y queria rebelarme contra mi mismo en mi estilo de escribir. No quiero que este disco sea igual a por ejemplo "Blackwater Park". Todos en la banda estamos de acuerdo al cambio de estilo, este album no suena como nada que la banda quiera sacar para mantener el nombre fresco, Grabe un demo con el sonido clasico y se lo di a escuchar a Mendez y practicamente dijo que estaria desepcionado si ese fuese el proximo album. El album es bastante complejo y suena como tipo Fusion (Estilo musical) y creo que muchos fan que creen entender lo que queremos hacer lo van a odiar, pero estoy seguro de que a otros les va a gustar. una cosa es segura, a nadie le va a parecer aburrido" Yo personalmente estoy desesperado para que salga! lo quiero ya! |
