Symfonia, el nuevo proyecto de metal melódico con integrantes de Helloween, Stratovarius, Angra y Sonata Arctica, entrará a los estudios Studiomega de Valberg, Suecia, a fin de mes para comenzar a grabar su disco debut, a editarse en algún momento de la primavera norteamericana/otoño sudamericano de 2011.

Una gacetilla de prensa dice lo siguiente: "son todas leyendas de la comunidad metalera melódica. De pura coincidencia, todos ellos están viviendo en el mismo continente, en Escandinavia. Decidieron unir fuerzas y expresar sus talentos en forma de un nuevo proyecto de metal melódico".

"Honrando la herencia de sus bandas anteriores, Stratovarius, Helloween, Angra y Sonata Arctica, Symfonia continúa su magnífica tradición metalera melódica con una increíble musicalidad. Es una causa común que ningún fanático de metal melódico será capaz de ignorar".

Symfonia es:

Timo Tolkki - guitarra (Stratovarius, Revolution Renaissance)
André Matos - voz (Angra, Shaaman, Viper)
Jari Kainulainen - bajo (Stratovarius, Evergrey)
Mikko Härkin - teclados (Sonata Arctica, Kotipelto)
Uli Kusch - batería (Masterplan, Helloween)

Symfonia hará su debut en vivo el próximo 18 de febrero de 2011 en el Finnish Metal Expo, parte del Helsinski Metal Meeting, en Helsinski, Finlandia.

Hmmm, habra que ver quien/es es/son el/los compositor/es principal/es. Si es el gordo Tolkki, no le tengo mucha fe :cafe:

Lo unico que rescato es a Matos y Uli.

Pero con el nombre pareciera que va a ser algo demasiado simfonico...y no me va a gustar!!!

Unfortunately I have bad news for you. I am not able to play drums in this moment.
Over a month ago I started to feel pain in my left hand while rehearsing for the first show of Symfonia.
At first I thought it was just temporary, normal pain that sometimes comes with intensive rehearsing. But it got worse very quickly.
I have been seeing 2 specialists and they have done all kinds of tests to locate what the problem is.
They both agreed it is some kind of nerve damage and that I absolutely should not play drums in this moment.
I am very sorry about this, since I have been waiting to play this show in Helsinki very much. But I have to think about the future of Symfonia and the possibility of the permanent damage I would do to my hand if I would now play. In fact, the pain is so strong that I cannot even hold a drumstick in my left hand at the moment. I hope you understand the situation and that I am doing everything I can to get better as soon as possible.
Regarding Finnish Metal Expo, I have told the guys to play the show nevertheless, with a substitute drummer, because many people are waiting to see Symfonia’s debut live.
